How much will it cost me to obtain advice?

1. Your Employer Pays Our Fee

Your employer will generally make a contribution to your legal fees if they offer you a settlement agreement. This usually starts at around £350. We will never charge you any more than what your employer is offering, if you are happy with the agreement and you simply want advice on the contents and the legal implications of signing it.

2. ‘No Increase No Fee’

If you want us to negotiate an increase on the payments you have been offered, we can do this on a ‘No Increase No Fee’ basis. This means we will only charge you our fee if we are successful in negotiating an increase on your compensation payment and our fee will be limited to a percentage of any agreed increase only. If we are therefore unable to secure an increase you will not have to pay us a penny.

3. Fixed Fee

If you do not want us to negotiate an increase on the compensation but want us to negotiate more favourable terms, or secure a letter of apology we will do this for a fixed fee. We will, in most cases seek to negotiate a higher contribution from your employer on your behalf to cover any additional fees.

If an agreement is not reached we can support with seeking damages through the employment tribunal or court. For more detailed information on costs associated with a tribunal claim click the link below.
